How to embed Google reviews on Wix in 3 steps
Step 1: Get your embed code from WeWidget
- Go to wewidget.app
- Sign up or log in (takes 2 minutes)
- Enter your Google Business Profile URL
- Choose your widget style (vertical cards, horizontal, badge, etc.)
- Copy the embed code — it looks like

Step 2: Add an HTML widget to your Wix page
- In Wix Editor, click the page where you want the reviews to appear
- Click Add Elements (usually the + icon on the left)
- Scroll down and find Embed
- Click HTML iframe (not Custom Element or Embed)
- Place the widget where you want it on your page
Tip: A good place is below your main content, or in a dedicated "Social proof" or "Testimonials" section.
Step 3: Paste the WeWidget code
- In Wix, click the HTML widget you just added
- Click Edit Code (or the code icon)
- Clear the existing code and paste your WeWidget embed code
- Click Update
Refresh your page preview. Your Google reviews should appear within seconds.

Troubleshooting
Widget is not showing
Check that you pasted the code into an HTML iframe element, not a text field. Also verify your Google Business Profile is public and has at least one review.
Reviews look cut off or overlapped
Adjust the height of your HTML widget in Wix. Click the widget, find the height control, and increase it until all reviews are visible. WeWidget will automatically size its width to match.
Getting an error message
Make sure you are using the complete code from WeWidget (do not edit or shorten it). If you still see errors, contact support@wewidget.app with a screenshot of your Wix editor.
Where to place reviews on your Wix site
The best placement depends on your business, but here are proven locations:
- Homepage:Below your hero section, above the call-to-action. Visitors see proof before deciding to contact you.
- Services/About page:Near the end, after describing what you offer. Reviews confirm your promises.
- Contact page:Above the contact form. Hesitant visitors read reviews before reaching out.
- Footer:A mini version (3–5 recent reviews) in the footer of every page. Passive but always visible.
